the kitchen
I feel sorta bad that I haven't been posting any recipes...but I will soon, promise. For now our home is my focus and I thought I would share a few pictures. This is the kitchen...I really want to get it renovated, but for now it is good (ARGH! except the oven doesn't work properly!!) I really love all the natural light though :)

One of the best parts about this home, it's only a quick walk to the beach. This is our view from the front of the house. I love waking up to the sparkles on the water.

O.K. that's all I got so far...the rest of the house is messy with boxes and art I have not put up yet. So far I have been super happy here, I suspect it will get better in the winter, because we have a wood stove in the living room!! What could be better on a snowy day then curling up on the couch and warming your toes by a fire!
The ingredients are Raw organic walnuts, red star nutritional yeast, Celtic sea salt & LOVE! (love is an actual ingredient listed!) The nutritional yeast that they use is Red Star Vegetarian Support Formula. It is the highest quality nutritional yeast available. It contains good quality protein and B vitamins, including B12, a vitamin we vegans are constantly on the lookout for!
The possibilities are endless with Parma!! So how do you get your hands on some of this...just leave a comment on what you would love to sprinkle this on. Don't forget to visit there site and read about the company!
Wow, what a lovely home! I would love to sprinkle some Parma on my fave veg: brussel sprouts!
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous of your home! The lighting is awesome, and your view...wow. I'd love to try the Parma -- regular parmesan adds so much flavor to dishes that I've been reluctant to give it up entirely, even though I know it's ethically questionable.
ReplyDeleteI'd sprinkle some Parma on pasta with marinara sauce, a baked potato, steamed swiss chard, or really, just about anything!
ReplyDeleteYour home is stunning; best of luck getting unpacked and settled in.
Love your new house! How lucky you are to live by the water!
ReplyDeleteI would sprinkle this on a salad, pasta or even my finger:)
Yum! I've always wanted to try this. I would sprinkle some on a baked sweet potato or on toast to make cheezy crostini!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to try that stuff! I think it would be great on simple steamed veggies :-)
ReplyDeleteCourtney
I think I would sprinkle it on some tots! :)
ReplyDeleteFirst, amazing view from your kitchen!! Lucky you :)
ReplyDeleteSecond, I'd sprinkle Parma on my "mac n cheese" recipe AND on top of potatoes! Well ok, I'd probably sprinkle it on everything....hahaha....
I would make some "chicken" parmesan and add it. Yum!
ReplyDeleteYour house is adorable! I just LOVE your Canada living space! When we moved, a fireplace was a must! I love my fireplace! I love Parma, too--and am sort of addicted, if truth be told--for my popcorn nights especially! The stuff rocks on popcorn!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm... vegan Parma! That would be a great treat sprinkled on top of a bowl of piping hot chili while sailing across the North Atlantic!
ReplyDeletethis would go nicely on EVERYTHING. I may just eat it right out of the container...
ReplyDeleteI honestly believe that cheese makes just about everything better, and am often frustrated by my inability to make things vegan (on principle) because of my love of cheese. So! I would love to try this on...just about everything. :)
ReplyDeleteI will sprinkly this on popcorn with olive oil. but first on noodles in pesto, then on toast with tomato slices for breakfast
ReplyDeleteGreat pics of your new place, I love the windows in the kitchen and would be tempted to add more when renovated!! How exciting for you.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try some of this Parma on Popcorn!!
I would sprinkle it over sliced tomatoes sprinkled with olive oil and balsamic vinegar...
ReplyDeleteLove the pix of your place! When you renovate the kitchen, will you be using green design ideas?
parma is fabulous - I love it on everything I've tried it on - steamed veggies, pastas, salads, soups, popcorn. it really is love.
ReplyDeleteI just miss the classic sprinkling of parmesan cheese over some spaghetti marinara.
ReplyDeleteMmm, memories.
Thanks! I was hoping to check in and see some house pics. I am so happy for you, although I don't "know" you. Ha Ha!
ReplyDeleteWe'd love some vegan parm. I usually make my hubby deal with my nut yeast & hemp seed version.
