Lets go Geocaching!

What is GEOCACHING you ask? Funny because I didn't know what it was until we were speaking with my friend Diana, after dinner. It is a where a GPS or ( iPhone) unit is used to find some sort of treasure that a person has left and marked in a special place. That is when we decided to try it out, there are many goods spots  in Val-David, Quebec. The Village Suisse is right next to a trail, so what better to take the kids/dogs through a walk in the woods and find treasures!!

We were 25 feet away on the GPS, until we stopped hunting  it got too dark in the woods... I really wish we would of found something, but I had a sleeping baby on my back, and when it gets dark in the woods, it gets scary !! So we thought it would be better to walk back and try again in the morning.

This is such a fun thing to do with the family...even if you can't find it. They are in 100 countries around the world and on seven continents, including Antarctica!!! That is amazing.( to think that someone takes the time to leave a little something-something for another person in a special spot :) I can't wait to try it again.
